What is Wireplay?

Wireplay is a new BT service which connects Personal Computers over the phone network in such a way that two or more people can participate simultaneously in many of the most popular multi-player computer games. But that's not all: ultimately, any authorised user will be able to set up and play in a variety of leagues and competitions so they can take on whole groups of friends or other players and battle their way to the top.

This is Version 1.5h of the client software, the second version made available to preregistered members of the Wireplay pilot trial. It enables a number of popular games with null modem or IPX network multiplayer options to be played over the service.

If you have any problems with Wireplay you can contact the Wireplay Helpdesk on Locall 0345 577577 (opening hours Monday-Saturday 8 am to 10 pm, Sunday 10 am to 6 pm) or by e-mailing us at support@wireplay.com..

Please also take the time to complete the triallist questionnaires, the next of which will be sent out late September or early October 1996. The feedback you are providing is very valuable to us in improving the service
